Each theme will have a full list of the LifeColor paint chips that were used for the painting and weathering processes.

Available information on historical facts and real equipment will be added in most cases that will enrich the contents of the books and impart some interesting information to readers.

About this guide: LifeColor Painting Guide Vol.3

The first article comprises 10 pages and is written by the well-known Master Martin Hughes, owner of “Scale War Machines” on the YouTube channel. It’s all about painting and weathering a 1/35 scale “Paper Panzer” Leopard tank using LifeColor products, where Martin reveals his approach to painting and weathering a monochrome camouflage.

In this in-depth article with its 30 step-by-step photos, you’ll see how he used various references in LifeColor’s extensive range to complete a tank in a monotone Dunkelgelb paint scheme and making it very attractive and interesting! Of course, all these techniques can be easily adopted to paint any German tank with a similar Dunkelgelb camouflage!

In the second eight-page article talented artist Theodosis Giannakidis has contributed a unique theme to this volume on the secrets of achieving a natural and realistic finish of a Soviet wooden house. He explains in exquisite detail how to paint and finish a wooden house using Lifecolor wood sets and pigments. The article has more than 20 step-by-step photos with detailed captions, and he has also included a couple of photos of the winter diorama featuring this house.

The third article is by the well-known Master Christos Katselos and describes the painting a 1/10 scale bust of a WWII German DAK Soldier over 13 pages, with some historical data about the insignia and awards.

There are 64 step-by-step photos on how to paint flesh, hair, eyes, WWII DAK uniform, helmet, leather and canvas equipment, goggles, a Chameleon, the metal parts and Bakelite grips of the MP40. We must note that Christos calibrated the six shades for the WWII DAK Uniforms for the new set CS58 and the painted Nutsplanet bust was used for the box art on the cover of this set.
