Part No: IW-HP-BC-PLUS – Iwata High Performance BC PLUS Airbrush

Iwata High Performance BC Plus is a high-detail, high-precision, bottom-feed airbrush designed for artists who need quick colour changes with specific colour sets.  Having similar spray characteristics and needle/nozzle size to Iwata High Performance C Plus, the HP-BC plus has very good atomisation and is extremely reliable.

Known as the airbrush professionals’ workhorse, the Iwata High Performance Plus series now comes with new features that make these airbrushes even easier to use and control. New features include:

• Dual-purpose, cutaway and preset handle for easy cleaning and precise control of paint flow
• PTFE needle packing for automotive or other solvent-based paints
• Larger threads on the nozzle give a more secure fit and better centering of the nozzle
• Single-piece auxiliary lever/needle-chucking guide provides easy assembly

The HP-BC Plus features:

• All of the new HP-Plus features above
• 0.3 mm nozzle (ideal for spraying fine to medium liquids in larger quantities and quick colour changes)
• Suction-feed (comes with 2/3oz (20ml) glass bottle with metal lid and adapter)
• Dual-action
• Internal-mix
• Fine detail spray pattern (0.3 mm to 25 mm)

To use the HP-BC Plus for fine detail work, you can replace the 0.3 mm nozzle with  to a 0.2 mm nozzle and needle cap.

You will also need:

• Air source (look at recommended Iwata Studio Series compressors)
• Air hose (look at Iwata Hoses)
• Extra bottles as required in sizes 1oz, 2oz, 3oz or 4oz (look at Iwata Bottles)
