A lightbox is a perfect tool for any artist, professional or amateur. There are a number of creative industries using a tool they call a lightbox, however we are specifically talking about a box (usually A4 or A3) with a diffused light in it. The box contains multiple LED bulbs that evenly illuminate the surface, allowing the user to see the illuminated item more easily. A lightbox will create a high contrast image which is vital when tracing. The lightbox design eliminates shadow and any uneven light, making it easier to create quality results and can be used by artists at all levels. Lightboxes are useful across many hobbies as well as in professional design work, and can be used for drawing & tracing, sketching, embroidery or cross-stitch, photo slide viewing, X-RAY inspection and much more.
