LifeColor paints are water based acrylic colours for modelling and hobby painting. They are excellent for both paint brushing and airbrushing onto plastic, resin, metal, vinyl, wood, cloth and ceramic.

This wide range of paints includes basic gloss and matt colours and mimetic, based on the Federal Standard 595b correspondence and each label shows the equivalent FS number.

The range offers many paints grouped into convenient sets for specific subjects, including tanks, aircraft, uniforms/figures, ships, railways and weathering.

The LifeColor Panzer Crew Black Uniform colour palette for the German panzer uniforms (Panzertruppen) during the WWII era. This special clothing consist of a double-breasted jacket and long black wool trousers to the hips with skulls on the collar patches. The collar bead in Waffenfarbe was generally in pink, gold for former cavalry units in the reconnaissance role or black/white twist for combat engineers. This set includes Panzer Uniform Deep Shadow (Black) LC 02 FS 37038 a Panzer Uniform UA 407 FS 36044 and a Panzer Uniform Light (Anthrazitgrau) UA 208 FS 36081.

Using LifeColor

1. Clean surfaces before painting
2. For airbrushing, dilute the colour to a milky consistency using water or LifeColor Thinner.
3. Airbrush at low pressures between 10 – 20 psi. (Iwata airbrushes give the best performance and atomisation at low pressures.)
4. Apply colour in thin coats with a brush or airbrush
5. Allow to dry completely between coats
6. Clean your airbrush with LifeColor Cleaner or Medea Airbrush Cleaner and flush through with water
