We are Celebrating Harder and Steenbeck’s 100th anniversary by showcasing the world’s first radical new ULTRA AIRBRUSH – engineered to teach the perfect double action trigger technique to first-time painters, by design.

The NEW ULTRA 2024 debuts three innovations!

The Start Control trigger design is engineered to eliminate common beginner mistakes featuring a full double action trigger system.

The Colour Control is a 5 step system that allows the perfect trigger settings for priming, basing, glazing and the 3 stages of highlighting.

The Clog Control system uses a headset which enables the user to see the needle tip. This allows for easy cleaning but also protects it from any damage. A clean needle tip is paramount for no colour clogging so the ULTRA 2024 will seamlessly help you start your airbrushing journey.

Here is a summary of the ULTRA 2024 features:

  • Three radical new features: Start Control, Colour Control and Clog Control.
  • Hole for the cup is larger, and more stable. It also functions as a Micro-cup replacing the 2ml cup.
  • New design of 5ml cup – reshaped internally for easier cleaning and larger capacity in a smaller shape
  • The head is our new 0.45mm headset – finer performance than the 0.4mm but easier to use.
  • This 0.45mm is the new 0.4mm – all markings stay the same, and everything is compatible with the old 0.4mm!

All other H&S heads can still be fitted to the ULTRA 2024:

  • the old 0.2mm ULTRA headset is discontinued when stocks are finished
  • there is no new 0.2mm ULTRA headset – the ULTRA 2024 comes only in 0.45mm
  • For a 0.2mm set-up, customers may use the Evolution, or the Infinity FineLine set-ups as an accessory.

Harder & Steenbeck’s modular system means that if you want to upgrade your frontend to a more detailed configuration later on, even the Infinity airbrush’s famous FineLine head system can be used on your Ultra.

The airbrush comes with our new 0.45mm head set which surpasses the detail capability of our previous 0.4mm head set while offering greater ease of use and versatility when painting. And of course, in the spirit of H&S, the new system is fully backwards compatible for those of you who already own H&S airbrushes.

You will appreciate the practicality of the included 5ml cup. However, if you want an uninterrupted line of sight for a detailed display, simply remove the 5ml cup and take advantage of the built-in micro cup socket in the airbrush housing for small amounts of paint.

We recommend any single-piston compressor that can run an airbrush up to approximately 25 psi – there are many options available and we are happy to recommend the following compressors:
