Createx™ colours are a general purpose airbrush paint. Originally designed as a textile paint, Createx™ is widely used by professionals and beginners for these  

applications:

• Fabrics

Createx Airbrush Colors are water-based, full bodied fluid acrylics suitable for a variety of airbrush and spray-gun projects. Colours are made with a supple, yet durable acrylic resin that is well suited for painting fabric and textiles, leaving fabric soft to the touch and crack resistant.

These paints can also be used on wood, leather, canvas, plastics, aluminium, metals, ceramic, clay, poster board, brick, plaster, latex, glass and more. The range includes Transparent, Opaque, Pearlized, Fluorescent and iridescent colours.

Createx Airbrush Colors are designed to cover and spray best with larger tip-sizes at higher psi settings compared to Wicked Colors and Illustration Colors which are better suited for fine-line performance through smaller airbrush tip-sizes at lower psi settings. Createx Airbrush Colors are made with lightfast pigments, the same pigments Wicked Colors and Illustration Colors. Createx Airbrush Colors dry semi-gloss.

Createx Airbrush Pearlized Colors use transparent, pearlescent powders and a durable resin which when applied to fabric feels soft to the touch and resists cracking. Pearlescent Colors refract light and create brilliant effects when top-coated with a gloss clear such as Createx 4050 UVLS Gloss or 5604 Gloss Top Coat.

• Createx Pearlized Airbrush Colors spray transparent direct from the bottle with a 0.5mm airbrush tip-size.
• Best applied over white, grey or black base, such as Createx Airbrush Opaque Colors.
• Best sprayed with a larger volume, tip-sized airbrush operated between 35 – 45+ psi.
• For medium tip-sizes, 0.3mm+, sprayed at reduced pressures, extend generously ~ 50% per volume with 5601 Transparent Base, then thin 10% – 20% with 4011 Reducer.
• Mix with 4030 Balancing Clear for improved adhesion & durability onto plastics and other hard surfaces.

We recommend that you thin your paint to suit your airbrush nozzle, especially for finer nozzles. As a guide, thin paints to a milky consistency. If you have a query whether a particular paint is suitable for a particular airbrush, please contact us.
